Project Engineer

A commercial kitchen specialist providing kitchen consultancy and design, equipment supply and
installation, project management and after-sales maintenance. Our project portfolio covers hotels,
hospitals, restaurants, central kitchens, airline lounges and institutional kitchens in Singapore and the
region.

JOB SUMMARY

The Project Engineer will plan, coordinate and deliver commercial kitchen equipment installation
projects from contract award through to handover, ensuring works are completed safely, on schedule,
within budget and to specification.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage assigned projects from contract award through installation, testing and commissioning,
and handover.
• Review contract drawings and specifications; coordinate kitchen layouts and services
requirements (electrical, plumbing, gas, exhaust and ventilation) with the in-house design and
BIM team.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors and other trades; attend site and
coordination meetings.
• Prepare and update project programmes, material submissions, method statements and risk
assessments.
• Plan equipment deliveries, manpower and subcontractors; supervise installation works on site.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements and site safety rules.
• Carry out testing and commissioning, user training and defects rectification.
• Prepare handover documents, including as-built drawings, O&M manuals and warranty records.
• Work with the costing team on variations and progress claims.
REQUIREMENTS
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building or Facilities Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years’ project execution experience in construction, M&E, interior fit-out or commercial
kitchen equipment.
• Able to read and interpret architectural and M&E
• Familiar with Singapore site practices and WSH regulations.
• Valid Construction Safety Orientation Course (CSOC) certificate. Building Construction
Supervisors Safety Course (BCSS) is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office; MS Project or similar scheduling software is an advantage.
• Able to manage multiple projects and work outside office hours when project schedules require.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Class 3 driving licence is an advantage.

Salary:

Up to $ 4,000 based on the working experience. 5 day/wk
